Proper shoe’s to wear!

Following up on my last post I did some searching to find shoes that are flatter and have a wider toe box – which will give your toes the PROPER space they need to PROPERLY function! (more cushion more heel strike) Not only that but elevating your heel throws off the alignment of your spine! It pushes your knees forward, putting your pelvis in a tilted position, and everything else there up to also be off kilter!

Important – if you’ve been in a super fully shoe don’t immediately transition into a very flat, unsupportive shoe- especially when running.  First make the transition in shoes you walk a lot in, change those to less cushion a few days a week, THEN make the transition in running shoes. Be barefoot at home, let those toes be free!

0 drop running shoes (this means no height difference from the heel to toe. These shoes also typically have a wide toe box.

There’s tons of shoes out there – sorry if I missed you! There were no Asics the made the cut.  I have to say I do not like the TechLoom shoes that Lulu sells… bite me? Or Hoka running shoes… Way too much cushion! Adidas – not impressed either.
